A GIRL'S ESSAY ON BOYS.
Boys arc men that have not got as big
as their papas and girls urc women that
will be ladies by-and-by. Man w.i made
before woman. When God looked at Adam
He said:: "Well I think I can do better if
I tr again." And He made Ec. God
liked Eo so much better than Adam that
there hae been more women than men.
Bo)s are a trouble. Tbcy wear out
ever) thing but soap. If I had my way
half the world would be girls and the rest
dolls. My papa is so nice that I think he
must hae been a little girl when he was a
little boy.
Man was made and on the seventh day
lie rested. Woman was then made and
she has never rested since.
Among the interesting exchanges on our I
tabic is the Baptist New Mexican the offi-
cial state paper of New Mexico edited by
William Park. It is further interesting to
note that Editor Park is at present a stu-
dent in Baylor University and plans to
finish in June. Mr. Park has hit upon r
plan of having the details of his publica-
tion handled by a managing editor r
Albc(ucrquc while he sends weekly con-
tributions which comprise the greater part
of the editorial page. The Baylor Lariat.
The meeting at Sweetwater held by J.
W. Newsomo and W. .II. Jackson resulted
in thirty professions and twelve additions
to the church. The church remembered
the pastor and helper with a nice offering.
A Bible conference for the Thirteenth
District was held with the Cisco Church
this week which was well attended. 0"r
president had an important place on the
program.
The Talor Evangelistic part) will hold
a meeting with the First Church here be-
ginning March 27 and closing April 17.
Charles Taylor the head of the party is
generally known as the "Hoy Preacher"
and has held meetings in Europe us well
as in America. His hist meeting was the
College Anciuic Church at Fort Worth.
Iherc will be a business meeting of the
Unions of College Heights Church Sunday
afternoon at 3:30 at which tmic plans will
he discussed and adopted for furthering'
