FEW ANIMALS HIBERNATE
Few animals actually
hibernate. Many, like the bear,
the raccoon and the chipmunk,
sleep much of the winter away,
but they are readily awakened.
Woodchucks and little brown
bats actually enter a comatose
state, so they are true
hibernators.
