The freshmen have arrived in

Sophomore junior and senior girls
feel a little morose and gloomy when
they view this bevy of beautiful
newcomers. They know their days
arc gone forever. Alasl Even new

Old Stuff
Speaking of renewing things how
about Jitter and Hulcn Stromquist?
I can hardly believe that I've been
away for three months because
things look "as usual" in that case.
I still want to say "Arrington and
Carrington" even though Billie did-
n't return. Remember last year
when we thought they were twins?
Sabotagol Sobotagol
Boys! If you don't want to be
"left waiting at the church" you had
better get Glenn Brock to share his
list of glamorous freshmen girls that
he has so diligently collected. Es-
pecially note the double-starred ones.
Dallas is well represented here this
year. If you've seen Tommie Lou
Armstrong you'll know what I mean.
"Gono but not forgotten"

number of our girls this year. Mary

Tuttle Jean McGec Pat Loe and
Margaret Blake have all joined the
ranks of the Longhorns. That's bad
isn't it J. D. and Wild Hoss?
Is Effie coming back or not? I've
heard yes and nay. Perhaps Orville
could enlighten us.
Entorprising Cox
No one can say that Lewis Cox has
backward ways (or taste) because he
has already escorted that attractive
blond Shirley Sheppard around the
campus.
Perhaps I misunderstood but I
thought I heard Royal James say he
had firmly resolved to stay rid of the
fairer sex. Can't you convince him
otherwise girls?
"Jerry Cone telephone. Jerry

cry at Zellncr. I'm convinced that
Oklahoma is a good state.
Welcomol Wolcomo I
Why didn't Grant Sharman and
James LcFan tell us they had broth-
ers soon arriving at ACC? Anyway
we're glad they are here.
D. D. seemed to think he got the
pick of the bunch at the freshman
jamboree. Others seemed to agree
with him. The "pack of wolves" were
really on his trail. Incidentally her
name is Maxinc Crowdcr.
Now as these gals from Tennessee
say "We'll be hearing from you-all."
Welcome Students! Whether you're
in Abilene for the first time or an
old timer we are glad you're here.
