Christopher Dutt
Student From India Plans
To Return Teach Gospel
By the name one would never
know that he was a native of Alla-
habnt. United Provinces of India
but Christopher Dutt is just that.
He received his clumentnry and high
school education in mission schools
there in his home town and for the
past few years 'has been traveling
about India preaching and teaching
the Gospel.
"My purpose in coming to Abilene
Christian college is to become a
competent missionary" Christopher
said "and then return to my native
country to teach Christianity to the
people."
India Eager For Tho Gospol
When asked how the people of
India receive the Gospel he re-
marked that they were very recep-
tive and eager to hear the Word.

but still cling a little to their Mo-

which they were raised." Moham-
modism and Hinduism are the two
stiongust factions in India at the
pi sent time both religiously and
politically. Christianity is making a
little progress but there are mil-
lions of people yet unreached.
Corresponded with ACC In 1937
Christopher fiist corresponded
with Abilene Christian college in
1937 when James F. Cox was pres-

not completed however until re-
