Kevin Wayne Marks: Kevin Wayne Marks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Marks of Grand Prairie,
Texas died Monday night, June 1, 1959, in Miller Hospital in Grand Prairie. Surviving the infant are his
parents; sister, Malinda Marks; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dean, all of Grand Prairie and Mr. and

Parrish M. Marshall: Parrish M. Marshall, 90, died Saturday at his home in Van Alstyne, Texas.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Fox-Fanning Funeral Chapel, the Rev. D. A. Holt
conducting. Burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Marshall was born March 31, 1860 in Kentucky.
Survivors include daughter, Miss Georgia Marshall of Van Alstyne; six grandchildren; and one brother,
Jim Marshall of McKinney, Texas. Mr. Marshall was an uncle of E. E. Stone of Celina, Texas. Those
attending the funeral from Celina, Texas were W. J. Gearhart, Mrs. Lee Terry, Mrs. Charlie Terry and

George Herman Martin: Funeral services were held in the First Methodist Church here at 2
o'clock Wednesday afternoon for Herman Martin, 46, who died Sunday, January 9, 1955, at his home
in Chicago, Illinois. Death was attributed to coronary occlusion. Mr. Martin was the son of a well-known
Celina, Texas couple, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Martin and he was reared and received his public school
education in the Celina and Alla Communities. He was born in Georgia on June 24, 1908 and came with
his parents to Celina, Texas when he was a small child. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Conducting the services was the Rev. Kenneth Thomas, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Celina,
Texas. Burial was in Celina Cemetery directed by Helms Funeral Home. Pallbearers were L. F. Douglas
of Fort Worth, Texas, Fulton Patrick of Dallas, Texas, Paul O'Brien, Carl Stone, C. S. Dennis, Bennie
O'Brien, Jim Helms and Bennie Brewer all of Celina, Texas. Surviving are his wife; three daughters,
Patsy, Jill and Judy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Martin; four brothers, Newell Martin of Los Angeles,
California, Weldon Martin of Weslaco, Texas, Dunnaway Martin of McAllen, Texas and Bobby R.
Martin of Celina, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Taylor and Mrs. Catherine Smith both of Dallas,

Jennie Belle (Green) Martin: Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First
Christian Church in Weston, Texas for Mrs. Jennie Belle Martin, age 78 years, 9 months and 26 days,
who died at 10 p.m. Saturday night, January 30, 1954, in McKinney City County Hospital. Rev. Riley
Donica conducted the service assisted by Rev. C. L. Seagraves of Dallas, Texas. Burial was in Cottage
Hill Cemetery directed by Crouch-Moore Funeral Home. Mrs. Martin was born April 4, 1875 in Texas,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Green. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. J. C. Dorsey of Weston, Texas,
Mrs. E. B. Artman of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Mrs. Myrtle Williams of California; two sons, Jimmy
Williams of Ft. Worth, Texas and Cecil Martin of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 13 grandchildren and 7PAGE 18
