This week we announce Hon.
\V. C. Douglas as candidate for
the important and responsible
position of Judge of the District
Court of the 63rd Judicial Dist-
rict, subject to the Democratic
primaries.
He is comparatively a young
man, having been born at Eagle
Pass 35 yeara ago where he is
recognized as a man of integrity
and large legal attainments which
especially qualify him for District
Judge. He was a former law
partner] of that eminent Jurist,
Judge Winchester Kelso, and is
highly endorsed by the bar. He
possesses a strong personality
and is a man of force and char-
acter: as he has never beforo
sought the suffrages of the people
he hopefully asks the support of
the constituency of the 63rd Dis-
trict to whom wecheerfully com-
mend him.
