of women in our society Mr.
Nader said "One of the most

was a very degrading example of
mental subservience."

If statistics are an liigatwllait
the Fall Semester 1971 was
truly a sickening seaMaaer at
ACC. The nurse's office reports
that 4412 absences wore ex-
cused due to illness last
semester.
Of that number 8647 were
reported to the nurse's office by
phone. In addition 766 absences
represent persons who came to
the office for consultation or
treatment from Nurse Bllaabeth
Hoguo and L. R. Bessire.
An examination of the ab-
sences on each of the days of the
week yields no surprising results.
Mondays top the list; Fridays are
at the bottom. The accumulative
total of Monday absences for the
semester was 860. Friday ab-
sences totaled only 626.
The day of highest absentee
km was Wednesday November
10. On that one day 126
absences due to Illness were
reported. The high incidence of
diarrhea and nausea was report-
edly caused by Frlto pie served
the previous day In the oafeterk.
