AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ABILENE, COUNTY OF TAT LOR, TEXAS, GRANTING
TO ROY GUFFEY, TRUSTEE, OF THE COUNTY OF TAYLOR, TEXAS, THE RIGHT AND PRI-
VILEGE AND FRANCHISE TO LAY GAS MAINS ALONG THE STREETS, AVENUES, ALLEYS,
ROADS, AND HIGHWAYS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES OF THE CITY OF ABILENE, COUNTY
OF TAYLOR, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISTRIBUTING AND SELLING NATURAL GAS
AND/OR MANUFACTURED GAS TO THE INHABITANTS OF SAID CITY AND TO OTHERS:
AND ALSO TO LAY PIPE LINES IN THE STREETS, AVENUES, ALLEYS, SIDEWALKS,
HIGHWAYS, ROADS, AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES AND GROUNDS OF SAID CITY FOR
THE PURPOSE OF CONVEYING NATURAL GAS AND/OR MANUFACTURED GAS THROUGH AND
WITHIN THE SAID CITY, AND TO OTHERS BEYOND THE LIMITS OF SAID CITY OF
ABILENE,COUNTY OF TAYLOR, TEXAS, BOTH FOR INDUSTRIAL AND DOMESTIC PUR-
POSES AND PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF SAID GAS
DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM.
By motion of Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Womack,
the above Ordinance was oassed on second and final reading. Commissioners
Johnson, Womack, Morrison and Mayor York voted "Aye". Commissioner Sarrmons
voted "N o".
By motion of Commissioner Johnson, duly seconded and carried, the
meeting was adjourned. All Commissioners voted ''Aye”.
