"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE PRINCIPAL
AUTHORING ISSUANg^ op $120,000.00, FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING, CANCELLING, AND IN LIEU
OF VALID AND SUBSISTING DEBTS OF THE CITY OF ABILENE, TEXAS: MAKING
PROVISION FOR LEVYING AND COLLECTING A SUFFICIENT TAX TO PAY THE INTEREST
ON SAID BONDS AND TO PROVIDE A SINKING FUND SUFFICIENT TO REDEEM AND
PAY THE PRINCIPAL MOUNT THEREOF AT MATURITY; PRESCRIBING FORM OF BOND
AND INTEREST COUPONS; ENACTING PROVISIONS INCIDENT AND NECESSARY TO THE
SUBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,"
By motion of Commissioner Womack, Seconded by Commissioner Johnson,
the rule requiring the reading of Ordinances at two separate and distinct
•regular meetings of the Board, was suspended. All Commissioners voted
"Aye",
Commissioner Womack made a motion, Seconded by Commissioner Sammons,
that the ordinance be read and passed twice at one and the same meeting.
All Commissioners voted "Aye",
The Ordinance was placed on Second Reading and upon Motion of
Commissioner Womack, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, the Above Ordinance
was finally passed and adopted. All Commissioners voted "Aye".
By motion of Commissioner Sammons, duly seconded and carried, the
meeting was adjourned. All Commissioners voted "Aye",
