games to determine playoff site
hampionshlp week is upon us. By
University. 89-51. Saturday the Wildcats
being interviewed she mentioned softie-
thing few people may have thought
about'
"Wc will probably have to play them at
least one more time" she said.
So perhaps we will see the second of a
four-game war between two teams that
know each other's strengths and weak-
nesses extremely well.
If ACU can win the Wildcats will have
the LSC tournament in Moody. But they
will also have regained one more top
seed they have been missing since their
loss to Texas A&M-Commercc: No. 1 in
the South Central Region.
The top seed in the region is almost a
shoo-in for having the regional playoffs
on its homecourt.
Translation: If ACU can play both
tournaments at Moody Coliseum the
Wildcats who have a 34-gamc winning
streak at home have an awesome chance
to return to the Division II Elite Eight
national toumament.
Theres just something about champi-
onship week at ACU . . .
iu p.m. Saturday we will know
look like they are peaking at the right
time in the season.
And Caroline Omamo junior from
Nairobi Kenya played an outstanding
game by scoring 22 points. Some team-
mates said they were passing to her to
get her going early in the game.
When the Wildcats play WTA&M
they will probably be-playing for the top
seed in the LSC tournament and the
right to hive it at Moody Coliseum a-
ssumlng they defeat Eastern New
