Sporting Goods Store in Paris

Description: Photograph of the current Williams' Sporting Goods Store (located next to the Plaza Theater) in downtown Paris,Texas. The upper story is the original architecture and displays excellent commercial brick work, carved stone inserts, a white sting course and frieze, and a white stone cap. The lower story has a metal canopy and a metal, framed-glass front which were added later.

Description: Photograph of the Plaza Theatre in downtown Paris, Texas. This is an Art Deco-style building with strong vertical lines, arches, spiral-cut columns, white stone window ledges, column bases, cornice consoles, and dentil contrasts with the red tile roof, window trim, and trim at the ground level. Plaza Square Building Canopy in Paris, Texas

Description: Photograph of the canopy hangers and chains on the 1927 Plaza Theater building in downtown Paris, Texas. There are white stone medallions surrounding the canopy hanger in the wall.
