The president of the Dallas Citizens' Interracial Association, Jerome Crossman, was thankful for the immense amount of people who attended the event. Fred F. Florence, who represented the Hoblitzelle Foundation states that the black and white citizens who have worked together during the Hamilton Park project have created a joyful event due to their service.
