Patent for a washer-scrubber that cleans gas from "tarry matter, ammonia, sulphureted hydrogen, carbonic acid and other impurities" (lines 14-16). The machine divides gas into streams, sprays it with washing liquor, spreads it over reticulated and perforated plates.

Patent for an inexpensive, simple, and durable automatic electric alarm that allows people in house or hotel rooms, mines, ships, shops, etc. to signal for another person. The alarm is wired to a clock so it can be programmed to go off at a certain time.

Patent for an automatic electric alarm meant to be hooked up to an automatic dry-pipe sprinkler system, and protects against fire. The alarm goes off when the air in the sprinkler pipes falls below a predetermined level. This invention also signals an alert when there is a leak in the pipes, and is an improvement on the circuit-wires for similar alarms.

The connections between the power and the plunger will be lighter and the feed-opening of the press-box will be closed automatically. The apparatus is meant to increase the value of the cotton it processes, and do so in an efficient and inexpensive manner. The chute does not let air out of the apparatus while cotton is being cleaned, and the air-pressure in the cleaner-condenser does not restrict the cotton's movement into the cleaner.
