Ant Trap.
Patent for a new and improved ant trap. This design calls for a tank of water to be buried in the ground and a collar of cheap material to be attached to the tank and placed over the mouth of an anthill. The concave nature of the collar prevents ants from climbing out of it, so they are forced into the water tank, where they drown; the design is cheaper and less toxic than previous designs.
Buckle.

This design "is composed of two parts, the upper end forming what may be termed a 'buckle proper,' to secure the end of a strap, and the lower ends formed into curved portions which fit one within the other and constructed to interlock, so that the lower end is adapted to catch a chain, bit, or other device which it is desired to connect a strap to, the . . . parts forming a hinge, whereby they can be turned one upon the other and separated entirely, or at their upper ends to allow the adjustment of the strap secured thereto" (lines 18-30).

Cotton Chopper.
Patent for a new and improved cotton chopper. This design consists in "[t]he combination of an axle, a frame, a shaft journaled longitudinally in the frame, radial arms mounted on the said shaft, gear connecting the said shaft with the axle, rectangular blades secured upon the ends of the said arms, the said blades being set diagonally, making their side edges parallel with the spiral path of the arms . . . and one blade being narrower than the others . . . whereby each blade will exactly coincide with the spiral path of its motion and stands will be left uncut at equal intervals" (lines 24-36).
Churn.
Patent for a simple, inexpensive, and effective combined churn motor and dasher that continuously and smoothly circulates cream. It has a large wheel the operator turns, which is connected through a series of pulleys to the dasher. A large frame holds the parts in place.
Ant-Trap.
Patent for an ant-trap with an inflexible bottom with a hole in the middle, a perpendicular section rough on the inside and smooth on the outside, and the perpendicular smooth sides are attached to the edges of the bottom. The trap has a device that prevents the ants from running around the trap.
Animal-Poke.
Patent for animal-poke that prevents them from jumping or forcing their way through fences. It consists of a yoke with its ends pointing upward, a brow band, rods that connect the brow band and the ends of the yoke, and bulges at the ends of the rods.
Cotton-Bag Carrier.
Patent for improved cotton sack carrier: "the object of the present invention is to provide a device whereby cotton sacks may be conveniently carried during the picking of cotton from one portion of the field to another without wearing the sack and with convenience to the picker" (lines 10-15).

This combination and arrangement of parts allows rotary motion to be converted to reciprocal motion, which improves the churning process.
Animal Power.
Patent for a new and improved animal power (engine). This design "consists in an animal-power constructed with a small wheel placed loosely upon a stationary upright shaft, and connected by hinges with the inner ends of arms and sweeps attached to the main wheel, which is mounted upon caster-wheels to support the weight of the wheel and its attachments. . . . The object of this invention is to economize power and promote convenience" (lines 16-25).
Attachment for Cultivators.
Patent for a wheel-cultivator that attaches to planters or plows. It provides "means whereby a planter or a plow-beam carrying any desired cultivating implement can be attached to the frame of a riding or wheel cultivator frame, and thus enable the cultivator-frame to be applied to uses other than that for which it was intended" (lines 25-30).
