[South Station in Boston]

Description: South Station in Boston, June 1930. At this date the large train shed was being removed as part of the overall modernization of the station. Platform canopies were the replacement. This large terminal had twenty stub end tracks. In the background a steamship is moored at the wharf and in the foreground are the tracks and depot of the Boston Elevated Railway.

[White, yellow blue medal with Nathan Hale statue]

Description: Photograph of a white, yellow and dark blue SAR Insignia medal with a statue of Nathan Hale distributed by the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution for their Golden Anniversary Congress, held at New London, Massachusetts in 1939. The medal is in the shape of Massachusetts, and has a quote by Nathan Hale on the back that reads, "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country." Nathan Hale is said to have uttered just before being hanged as a spy by the British.

[Postcard of King's Closet]

Description: Postcard of a room decorated with golden framed portraits and landscapes, a white fireplace, and crystal chandelier. The back of the postcard adds, "King's Closet.
