Description: Patent for a new and improved corn-sheller and washboard. This design "consist[s] of the frame, the backing, the transverse rods secured to said backing upon one side thereof, the vertical strip upon the opposite side of said strip, and the transverse rods secured to the outer edge of said strip, the pivoted legs, and the bars" (lines 96-102).
