Description:
Evening ensemble of black crushed velvet.
A) Cocktail dress of black crushed velvet, ankle length, with long sleeves. From knees to hem the skirt is of velvet fringe cut from the fabric.
Designer's label: "Givenchy"
Hidden behind designer's label is handwritten couture label: "47 757"
B) Stole of crushed black velvet with long chenille velvet fringe along one side. At ends are "two tiny pockets to put hands in to cross shawl over breast".
