[Port Arthur Country Club]

Description: Photograph of a wooden building identified as the Port Arthur Country Club. In front of the building, there are two parked cars amongst several trees. Text on the bottom of the photograph says "Country Club Recreation." The clubhouse was building in 1910, and had an outdoor swimming pool that was fed with water from Artesian Spring. The clubhouse was used until 1955, when the property was sold to a petrochemical company. A new clubhouse was built on Taylor Bayou.
