[Prenanthes pendula from Arguineguin, Canary Islands]
Description:
Photograph of Prenanthes pendula growing on rocky crevices in Arguineguin, Canary Islands. A mature example with woody stalks which are slender, unbranched, brown in color. The leaves alternate along the stem and are more dense at the top and sparse towards the base. The leaves are dull-green colored with lobed margins. A withered cluster of flowers can be seen at the top of one of the stems.
