Description: Postcard of the north side of Main street in Holland, Texas. A handwritten note on the postcard, which is addressed to Miss Annie Wiggers, says "Well if it wasn't for the scripture where it says all ye who are weary and heavy laden come unto me and I will give you rest. That is the only hope I have in this world. I don't think there ever will be any more pleasure for me left in this old world. I do sometimes wonder if ever I could be happy again. There is only one [?] for me and that is-"

Description: Postcard from a woman to Edna Matlock saying she trusts "you have had a nice Xmas we have for all are well." The image on the front of the card shows a podium covered in snow behind a Holly leaf and blue birds flying across the snowy background; the caption on the front reads: "Contentment, prosperity and joys not a few With all my heart I'm wishing for you, Best Wishes For The New Year."

Description: Postcard from W. B. Johnston to George Pendexter discussing other collectors to contact for pictures, Johnston suggests contacting F. A. Bruce, and L. A. Van Toor. The photograph on the reverse side shows the destruction at the Globe M. F. G. Co. building in Battle Creek, Michigan after a fire; the walls are crumpled inwards and the roof has caved in. There are two men standing off to the left looking at the damage left behind by the fire.

Description: Postcard from W. B. Johnston to George Pendexter telling Pendexter to call Henry W. Woodward in Springfield, Massachusetts for more photographs. Johnston says that the men in the photo belong to Engine #3 as they work on their spraying and he is the man wearing the light shirt; the photograph shows the men with their hose shooting a high pressured stream of water into the air.
