This is a residential neighborhood somewhere in modern day central El Paso, Texas; however the neighborhood's location is not exactly known. Description: Photograph of U.S. Ambulance picking up wounded soldiers on a battlefield. Three unidentified soldiers are placing a wounded soldier onto the field gurney also known as a stretcher or litter. This particular field ambulance was specially modified with supporting hooks so that it could transport up to four loaded field gurneys. The unidentified man in the dark suit and wearing the derby hat is most likely a newsman.
