The letter starts off with Claude asking Linnet if it would be better to write a letter of apology to Mr. Bryant or just let things be. He enjoyed seeing her a Christmas. He also tells her he is unwell, but thinks he is improving. He asks her to set a date for them to meet again.

Description: Letter from Charles B. Moore to A. S. Priest discussing Charles Moore's declining health and his last wishes should he die in the near future. He mentions a house that he is having built and some things which he wants Mr. Priest to have in the even of his death, and he asks that Mr. Priest not discuss the contents of this letter with Mary or Linnet. Moore also shares something he wrote in his diary the previous night.
