Seven plants, two in the foreground and five in the background, grow on an open, rocky slope and volcanic soil of El Tiede on Tenerife Island, Canary Islands. The plants have a striking, erect, stalk that is densely branched and covered with fuchsia-colored flowers that are tubular-shaped.
