Letter from L. R. Johnson to I. H. Kempner inviting Kempner to the Cowboy Club Convention and explaining the primary issue which was Johnson wanting to reach out to the men at the King Ranch to see if they would host a barbeque, or agree to some other terms for the convention. Johnson enlists Kempner's help for this, as he feels as if he doesn't know the ranch owners well enough to ask for such a favor.
