Description:
Script from the WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth, Texas, covering a news story about the Texas Neon Sign Manufacturing Company dismantling the neon American flag from the top of the Tarrant County Courthouse dome. The Fort Worth Jaycees paid this same company $2500 to build and install the flag in 1954. The flag became obsolete last July fourth when the 49th star was added to the American Flag.
