Description:
Original black and white photographic negative taken by Dallas Times Herald and United Press International newspaper photographer Darryl Heikes. This image, although blurry, shows the crowds along Main Street and some of the cars in the presidential motorcade. The driver of the white car, wearing a white hat, was Texas Highway Patrolman Milton Wright; his passengers included Dallas Mayor Earle Cabell and his wife Dearie.
