Description: Video footage from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during a performance of "Black Folks Don't Need NO Shrinks" at the Clarence Muse Café Theatre on March 30th, 2001. The VHS footage shows the performance which takes place on three alternating stages of a play touching on the many facets of black culture that drive African Americans to seek therapy along with the many cultural hang ups of asking for help as a minority group.
