Abilene home of Colonel James Harrison Parramore

Description: Copy negative of the home of Colonel James Harrison Parramore, who passed away in 1917. The home, located in the 700 block of Orange Street, bound by Beech, North 7th, and Parramore Street, has two levels, a porch and balcony, and many decorative accents. The property was destroyed by a fire and the entire block was never rebuilt. The site later became a historic district.
