The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Henry Tackett. An avid radio hobbyist and proficient in Morse code as a teenager, Tackett joined the US Naval Communications Reserve in 1938. After the war began, he was called to active duty, and served as a Chief Petty Officer Radioman. He worked at two air stations in Pensacola, Florida, maintaining radio equipment on planes.
