Description: Ticket to the 1949 inauguration ceremonies. The ticket reads: "President's Platform. Inauguration Ceremonies. January Twentieth, 1949. Admit the Bearer to the Senate Wing of the Capitol and through the Rotunda Door to the President's Platform" and is signed "Carl Hayden, Chairman, Committee on Arrangements." The back of the invitation is signed "Joseph C. Duke, Sergeant at Arms, U. S. Senate."
