He tell Redway of a job offer he has taken and of the bountiful wheat and fruit crops. Bacon furthers that the two should continue to correspond to one another. In the letter's closing, he and his wife send their love to Redway's wife and family. Bacon wrote this letter to Redway while he was living in Rheatown, Tennessee.
