Description: Script from the WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth, Texas, relating a news story about events on Fourth of July. The Lake Highlands area of Northeast Dallas staged its sixth annual fourth of July parade. Mothers took part in parade. Parade was not with horses but it was with bicycles and tricycles and an occasional wagon. The judge of the parade was Air force captain jerry Singleton. who was a former prisoner of war.
