Description: Photograph of the Fry-Barry house, 314 W. Austin St., Marshall, Texas, built between 1853 and 1861 by Fidel Bircher, designed by architect W. R. D. Ward. It is a Greek Revival style raised cottage, with brick lower portion and wood siding on the main floor. A 1920s automobile with a canvas top is parked in front of the house. Description: Black and white postcard of the First United Methodist Church, located at 300 East Houston St., in Marshall, Texas, photographed in the early 1920s. The building was constructed in 1861. It is a front-gable brick-masonry structure in a Greek revival style with a bell tower and steeple on the peak of the front gable.
