Description: Sgt. George V. Huffmon, a nurse in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, is pictured in front of the Memorial to the Eight Medicine Students in Old Havana, Cuba. This photo is a much clearer duplicate of another which appears on a picture postcard addressed to a Miss Hallie Thurmon of Denton, Texas. Sgt. Huffmon was stationed in Cuba during the Second Occupation of Cuba which lasted from Sept. of 1906 to Feb. of 1909.
