J. D. Sandefer is standing in the right-hand doorway of the car on the left. The reverse side is an unused postcard. This item was originally part of a scrapbook assembled by Thomas Norwood Carswell, largely containing items related to his time at Simmons College (Abilene, Texas).

Description: Photograph four old automobiles with drivers parked in front of a dealerships. The tops are down and the drivers wear suits, two with caps, one with a cowboy hat and one with goggles.
