Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with Robert Doolan. Doolan joined the Army Air Forces in August of 1941. He trained to become a pilot, but washed out and was discharged. Doolan rejoined in March 1942 and went to navigation school. He was sent to England and crewed a modified bomber known as a YB-40.
