[Transcript of bond originally held by Peter M. Hughes, November 2, 1836]

Description: Copy of transcript for a bond for a piece of land originally sold to Peter M. Hughes by John Austin on behalf of Stephen F. Austin on March 17, 1833. The bond was then transferred from Hughes to J. Vaughan on December 20, 1833. Ownership of the bond was eventually transferred to Josiah T. Harrell and Leman Kelay who cancelled the bond and obtained a deed for the land on November 2, 1836.
