Written underneath is "Shreveport Junction 1909 - note early T&P slogan "The El Paso Route" lettered on system boxcar #149 the [sic] locomotive, was a Class C-1 switcher built in 1883 at a cost of $10,000 by the Rogers locomotive works of NY.
