Description: Letter from Pierre Chardine to Daniel W. Kempner thanking him for the package of flour, sugar, soap, and other necessities that he sent him and telling him that he forwarded the package to Mrs. Hamon that he sent her. Mr. Chardine encloses the reply from Hôtel Splendide-Royal & Excelsior, but informs Mr. Kempner that it is too soon to contact Hotel Plaza-Athénée and that he will do so in two or three months.
