El Paso Red Cross Doctors

Description: Photograph of some American Red Cross Doctors. The fifth gentleman from the left is identified as being Doctor John W. Cathcart while the sixth gentleman is identified as Doctor Ira Jefferson Bush. Doctor Bush was hired by Governor Abraham Gonzalez to establish a hospital for the treatment of the Mexican rebels.

Description: Photograph of a large group of people at an undisclosed location in the desert. Information on the back of the photo states that this photograph is of a peace commission and to note the American flags displayed on two of the automobiles present in the photograph. Description: Photograph of a U.S. soldier loading something into an automobile as fellow soldiers sit in the back seat. [Herd of Mules]

Description: Photograph of a herd of mules being driven by the U.S. military during the Punitive Expedition. Two soldiers are driving two automobiles alongside the mules, keeping them in line. Four individuals can be seen amongst the herd, keeping order. Each mule is carrying a load upon its back.

[South side of the Zócalo]

Description: Photograph of the southern side of the Zócalo, or the main square in Mexico City also known as Plaza de la Constitución. Parked automobiles and people fill the southern edge of the main square. The "Portal de las Flores" currently known as the "Edificio De Gobierno De La Ciudad De Mexico" which translates to the Government Building of Mexico City can be seen across the street from the square. Adjacent to the government building is a portion of the Old City Hall Palace.
