Description: Shot by the staff of Congressman Jim Wright, this footage captures the aftermath of a flood in Fort Worth, most likely from 1957. In May of that year, after weeks of torrential rains across Texas, more than 4,000 people were evacuated from unprotected lowlands along local creeks and the West Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth.
