Description: Copy of transcript for a letter from Stephen F. Austin to J. B. Miller and W. Grayson, in which Austin informs Miller and Grayson of his plans to return to Texas and expresses his belief that General Santa Anna is a friend to Texas. Austin also reports that that federal reforms taking place in Mexico could result in statehood for Texas and advises against further disturbances.
