The garden, surrounded by a wooden fence, contains tiled rock coverings, a flat surface of sand, and a small field of round bumpy rocks,Two men kneel upon a taiko mat at center, one preparing a bow and arrow (kyūdō), and the other accompanying. A makiwara, a hay target placed on a tall stand, is located adjacent to them.
