Description: Photograph of Catherine Nimitz sitting at her desk at Navy Relief in the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital, Oakland, California. She wears a black coat with large shoulder pads and clasped at the top, a pearl necklace as well as a hat with a bunch of flowers on the front.
