Crescencia Natividad, Cook at the Brite Ranch

Description: Photograph of Crescencia Natividad in 1936. She was the cook at the Brite Ranch during the bandit raid of 1917. She could not read or write but could cook with the best of them. She cooked at the ranch for Van Neil, Oscar & Tommy Wells. She also cooked in Marfa, Texas for Mrs. Brite. In this photo she stands outside the house at the ranch.
