[Letter from Perry Sayles to W. A. Thomas, September 15, 1934]

Description: Letter from Perry Sayles to W. A. Thomas discussing his status as head of a family in connection with his tax return for 1933. Sayles discusses property owned in Eastland by him and his family. After his wife's death, he said it was necessary to send his daughter, Juanita, to a boarding school. During 1933 Sayles rented the house and cared for it the same as if he was living in it. It is his intention to occupy the house with his daughter when she finishes school the following year.
