Senior President
could miss
Chime Out
commencement
Senior Class president Dale
Edens may miss both chime out
today and graduation torn-
morrow if something should
happen to go wrong or if one of
those Smokies is waiting on a
hill.
Edens has to go to Austin
today to pick up is parents at
the airport and then drive to
Brownwood. His parents are
due to arrive at 1 p.m. and
Edens is hoping the plane from
El Paso will be on time.
Assuming Dale and his paren-
ts make Chime Out they will be
leaving HP immediately to
drive to Lubbock where Dale's
twin brother is graduating from
Texas Tech at 10:45 a.m. After
his brother grabs his diploma
Dale says he will be speeding
toward Brownwood as quickly
as possible. "Estimated time of
arrival is 2 or 2:15 p.m. which
will give me just enough time to
take my place in the
processional" Edens explains.
Good Luck !
