ing. The new Idea Instead of closing
sidewalk to the public and forcing it

necessary sidewalk spuce required by
the building contractor for his materi-
als makes a better walk for pedestri-
ans than they had befoie the building
operations commenced.
Further east on Walker other build-
ing contractors work on the south side
of the street is ghlng .similar consid-

tection of the public. The congestion
in foot trntfic on the sidewalks and
