Carthage hears
project update
Carthage Independent School District board
members met Tuesday night and accepted resig-
nations and hired personnel. Members also heard
updates on adding a soccer program and facility
projects.
Resignations were received from Erin McGee,
who taught at Carthage Primary, and Rebecca
Morris, who was hired last month for Baker-
Koonce Intermediate School. Those who were
hired include Coy Van Valkenburgh as a full-time

Natalie Knight for Primary, Carol Pyle for
Primary, Jill Clinton for Baker-Koonce, Craig
