VALIDATING COMMON SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1,
BAILEY COUNTY.
H. B. No. 623.] CHAPTER 99.
An Act validating Common School District No. 1 of Bailey County, Texas,
and defining its boundaries, and declaring an emergency.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas:
SECTION 1. Common School District No. 1 of Bailey County,
Texas with new metes and bounds as ordered by the county
board of education at a meeting Feb. 14th A. D. 1925, is hereby
in all things validated.
SEC. 2. The metes and bounds of Common School District
No. 1 in Bailey County, Texas are as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point where the north line of Bailey County
cuts the section line between sections No. 30 in Block "X" and
No. 25 Black "Y" in league No. 588;
Thence south on the east line of sections Nos. 30, 31, 32, 33
in Block "X";
Thence west on the south line of sections No. 33, 24, 21 and
12 Block "X";
Thence south on the east line of sections No. 6, 7, 8 Block
Thence south on the east line of sections No. 1 and 2 Block
"Y"; to the north line of the W. S. Simpson Survey;
Thence south to the north line of league No. 173 Sutton
County School Land;
Thence west on north line of league No. 173 Sutton County
School Land to a point half way across said league;
Thence south across said league to the south line of said
league;
Thence west on south line of said league to the southwest
corner of said league;
Thence south on the west line of league No. 171 Hale
County School Land to a point on said line east of the north
line of section No. 68 Block "A" Melvin Blum
Thence west to the northeast corner of section No. 68 Block
"A" Melvin Blum
Thence west on the south line of Garza County School Land
league No. 172 to the southwest corner of said Garza County
School Land;
